Oct 23, 2019 - Linux is Easier than Windows

I firmly believe that Linux is easier than Windows, and anyone - even your grandparents or your children - would benefit from learning it and using it.
Here are a few reasons why:
1. Installing/updating drivers
2. Software updates (no pop-ups, no ad-ware)
3. Easy to understand file system
4. Low maintenance, no viruses, no re-boots
5. All free software, all the time

Aug 7, 2019 - Fight back against advertising surveillance

AdNauseam is a browser extension designed to obfuscate browsing data and protect users from tracking by advertising networks. Like an ad-blocker, AdNauseam blocks malware and hides ads on the pages you visit. But AdNauseam does more, collecting each ad in its AdVault for you to interactively explore. AdNauseam can also be configured to automatically click each blocked ad in the background, polluting your data profile and frustrating the trackers who violate your privacy and facilitate bulk-surveillance agendas.

Addon for Firefox: addons.mozilla.org. Also available for Chrome and Opera.

Kdenlive is an acronym for KDE Non-Linear Video Editor. It is primarily aimed at the GNU/Linux platform but also works on BSD and MacOS. It is currently being ported to Windows as a GSOC project.

And here's a very simple guide to rotoscoping in Kdenlive, using proxied clips and transitioning two somewhat unrelated clips, using rotoscoping and affine. Skip to the end of the video to see the end-result.
